SHE/HER
I am currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University, bringing to this work my background as a birth doula and my experience supporting survivors of gender-based violence. My practice focuses on intimacy, communication, trauma recovery, and meeting the diverse needs of both LGBTQ+ and heterosexual individuals and couples. My background also includes working with survivors of trafficking, birth and postpartum individuals, new parents, military families, and foster youth transitioning into adulthood. While I have additional experience in these areas, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and experiences.
Grounded in a non-pathologizing approach to sexual health and desire, my therapeutic style is empathetic, direct, and nonjudgmental. I welcome clients exactly as they are and often draw on narrative and storytelling to explore complex histories and experiences.
I recognize that one’s sexual and erotic self is shaped by many influences—religious and familial upbringing, cultural narratives, education, traumatic experiences, and formative relationships—and I aim to hold space for those complexities with care and curiosity. My goal as a therapist is to help facilitate conversations that foster intimacy, healing, and self-acceptance, while supporting people in finding greater pleasure and connection in their lives.
