SHE/HER
Psychotherapy can be a tool for fostering self-discovery. Learning about the innermost parts of ourselves gives us insight into what’s keeping us stuck.
As an individual and couples therapist, I aim to strike a balance between affirming your experience in the world and helping you make changes that suit the lived experience you desire.
My hope is that by speaking your past and present thoughts and experiences aloud, you can find new agency and possibility in how you navigate the world.
I earned a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) with specialization in Sex Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. My foundation is in relational concepts—you exist in context, and that context is important. I enjoy working collaboratively and use an integrative approach that stems from Narrative, Somatic and Psychodynamic foundations.
I work from an LGBTQIA+/kink/sex worker affirming stance, welcoming all cultural identities. I strive to honor the nuances of anyone who enters the therapeutic space. My background is in the arts world, and I embrace interest in incorporating creativity of any kind into the work. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and get to know your unique challenges and needs.
I see individuals who face anxiety, depression and a myriad of life transitions, including becoming a parent and gender transitions. I also work with couples struggling with satisfaction in their relationships and with folks experiencing sexual challenges individually and in relational systems.
