Work with Sarah

I work with people ready to understand what's really going on. Maybe questions about who you are, what you want, or why you keep ending up in the same situations won't quiet down. Or you're curious about parts of yourself you haven't fully explored but aren't sure where to start. Together, we'll explore what's beneath the surface: the patterns in your relationships, the shame you carry about sex or intimacy, the parts of yourself you're still figuring out how to integrate. Whether you're working through trauma, considering coming out, exploring kink or non-monogamy, or just tired of feeling disconnected from yourself, I create a space where you can show up fully and explore difficult topics.

My approach is warm, empathic, and direct. I use humor when it helps, and I won't shy away from difficult conversations. I specialize in identity exploration, trauma, and relational work, and I work primarily with queer folks, though I welcome all clients. I work in person in Brooklyn and offer telehealth as well.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years as a Product Manager at a major tech company, which gave me a unique understanding of those particular pressures. I earned my MSW from Columbia University and I'm trained in LGBTQ+ affirming care through the Institute for Human Identity. Outside the therapy room, you'll find me biking around the city, doing crosswords, or cheering for the Liberty.

I believe therapy works best through genuine connection. We create a space where you can explore your deepest wounds and questions without judgment. Together, we'll work with intense feelings rather than be overwhelmed by them, moving at your pace while staying honest about what we're noticing. If you're ready to understand yourself more deeply and live more authentically, let's talk
